Account Deletion

Holidog users can delete their account directly from the app or request account deletion by email.

This page applies to Holidog mobile app and web accounts.

Delete your account in the Holidog app

If you can log in, this is the fastest way to start account deletion.

  1. Open the Holidog app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Open Account deletion.
  4. Choose a reason, type the confirmation phrase, and submit the request.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account, email us from the address linked to your Holidog account.

Include

  • The email address linked to your Holidog account.
  • Your first and last name.
  • Whether you are using Holidog as a pet owner, pet sitter, or both.
  • Any extra detail that helps us identify the account.

What happens next

  • We may ask for extra information if we need to verify account ownership.
  • After verification, we deactivate or delete the account and process the deletion request.
  • We confirm by email when the request has been handled.

Data we may need to keep

Some records may be retained where required by law, including accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, and safety records.

Where full deletion is not legally possible, we restrict or anonymise data where appropriate.
