Ever since I was a young child, I have always loved and had an affinity for animals, despite my parents never allowing me to have a pet. My next door neighbour had three dogs and two cats and I would always beg to go over and play with them. As I got older, I put letters through the doors of my neighbourhood, offering to take care of and walk pets for free, just because I wanted to spend time with animals. Now I am studying at the University of Exeter, and I am still unable to have my own furry friend, so I thought that becoming a petsitter would be ideal for me, and as a student a bit of extra money on the side would never go amiss. However, I would like to stress that I am not petsitting for the money, but for my intense love of animals and the joy that they bring me. I am an avid walker and Exeter is fabulous for it's great green chain walks, perfect for dog walking.
