My name is Cat and I am a 23 year old zoologist, completing my bachelors in zoology/animal biology at Edinburgh Napier University in 2016. I absolutely love all animals: big, small, fluffy, scaley, slimey, I really do love them all!

I currently live in Bonnyrigg but I grew up in a small villiage near Livingston. Growing up I was always surrounded by animals. Everything from cats, rabbits, guinea-pigs, rabbits, reptiles, fish, horses... I have either owned or worked with them plus many others! My mother always says I was destined to work with animals, growing up next to a forest I was always bringing home frogspawn or injured birds and mice, moving hedgehogs off the road, and batwatching with my father in the evenings. I insisted on helping every animal the family cats brought in to us.
