I am a 25 year old female currently in my third year of studying veterinary medicine at the University of Edinburgh. I have had pets my whole life, having been raised with dogs, cats, and hamsters. This led to a huge passion for animals and their care, which is why I decided to study veterinary medicine at university. I have worked in veterinary clinics over the years including one for dogs and cats and one for exotic species such as birds, reptiles, and small mammals. I also have a prior bachelor's degree in Biology that was attained in 2010. I currently am owned by my 1 year old cat Hugo, who is the light of my life. I know that leaving your pets behind while you're on holiday can be a stressful situation, but I hope I am able to put your mind at ease with my experience in the field!
