I love animals, always have. Due to living arrangements I cannot currently own any, so this is the next best thing. I have, in the past owned and/or personally cared for dogs, cats, rodents, fish, birds, chickens, ducks, cows, lizards, snakes, amphibians, insects, and rabbits. I haven't personally owned horses, but my sister owns one and I have been around them on and off most of my life. I have no known allergies, and I am not squeamish to any kind of animal.
