I'm very interested in pet sitting because i love animals and i have been wanting to work with animals for a long time i did college courses on animal care and i have pets my self too. I have a rabbit called toffee and a hamster called scratch they are like my children you can say. They get spoilt a lot always fed and watered to a routine my pets enjoy. So if weather is hot they get lots of cool fresh foods in the day time and their balanced food in the evenings with plenty of cool water. During the winter i move my rabbit indoors where it alot warmer for him and protects him from the harsh winter weather.The rabbit gets plenty extra bedding and food even though he is indoors he loves Weetabix in the winter i mix that with any fruit or veg he has and he has his normal balanced food too. My hamster Scratch he lives in my living room where it is always warm come summer or winter same treatment as the rabbit really food and water. The rabbit and the hamster get plenty of daily exercise every day i have a routine for that When im working i exercise the rabbit the hamster being nocturnal he only exercises in the evenings the rabbit twice a day when i'm not working.I also look after my mum and dad's dog when they go away he comes to my house and he gets really spoilt plenty of walks treats and i make sure he is comfortable at my home.They also have an African grey parrot which i help clean out as my mum can b wary about him sometimes.I have been interested in animal care since i was very young all animals fascinate me the way they are. Also i love wildlife i get excited if i see a deer or a fox in the fields or when i'm travelling on the roads i love watching the birds from my living room window as i have a berry bush around the window the sparrows i love watching it's their nature they seem to have a mischief cheeky nature about them and always busy collecting twigs and leaves and eating and chasing each other.I also like the ducks another animal that fascinates me i can sit by a river all day and watch them, lizards i really love we went away abroad to Lanzarote and the gheckos were amazing one of the nights i sat there and watched them for hours my husband rolls his eyes at my interest in all creatures but i don't care i love it. So that's all my animal interests spoken about now a bit about my self i'm Gemma 28 years old, been married for 2 years this year been with my husband for 11 years met him when i was 17 just finished my animal course at college in april 2003 met my husband 27th april 2003 could'nt find any jobs involving animals since so have been doing different jobs shop work to carer to hotel work. to be perfectly honest with you i have not been happy in any of them jobs because they don't involve animals. I have always wanted to do pet sitting for people but did'nt know how to go about it until i discovered this page and thought there is no harm on giving it ago and see what i get out of it deep down i'm hoping my profile will get chosen but will understand if there is someone else better out there. I'm more than happy to pet sit at my own home as in my heart all animals are welcome in my home no matter what they are unless it's spiders then no :).I have a part time cleaning job at the moment which i love. Most of my clients have pets mainly dogs and to b truthful i look forwards to seeing the pets than i do cleaning. There is this one house i do and they have a golden retriever lovely girl she and she moves her bed for you so you can hoover underneath i was very amazed when i first saw this she talks to you if u haven't noticed her move her bed too i find amusing every time i go there. Also another house i love going to have 2 dogs a black lab and a springer spaniel they always want to play they greet u at the door with their favourite toys and we have to throw them in to the living room so we can get in so funny and a cat that loves the hoover head very amusing indeed makes my cleaning job very interesting i think i have covered every thing that you may want to know and interested in hope to hear back from you soon and i hope you enjoyed my stories and a bit about my life
