I love all cats and dogs, but I have a special place In my heart for energetic hyper pets. I have a young cocker spaniel at home which loves jumping and playing. Sometimes some people can be taken aback or worried when a large dog barks really loudly or jumps up but not me! I'm used to it and I love it. I also visit my grandma every summer and since I was born she's always had at least 1 dog and 4 cats in her house - sometimes even 6! This taught me to understand a variety of different temperaments from pets, especially as all her animals were rescue pets so some could be very quiet or very energetic. I'm good at reading what animals want and not to smother them if they're uncomfortable.
