I was based in London for a decade (*read the end section), and for as long as I can remember I’ve been the person friends call when their pets need company, calm energy, and a familiar routine while they’re away. After more than 10 years of hands-on care (full-time professional pet care in London and UK’s south east, through different apps and agencies), I’ve learned that the little details matter most: the right walk pace, the preferred sleeping spot, and the exact way your cat likes their dinner served.

When I house-sit, I aim to keep life feeling normal for your pet. Adding lots of love and cuddles! I’ll follow your instructions closely, stick to their usual schedule, and send photo and video updates so you can see how they’re doing in real time. If your pet needs medication, I’m comfortable administering it and keeping track of doses, timings...

This was my first experience with Raquel who visited and looked after my two cats for a few days while I was away. I found her to be responsible, reliable, gentle and caring. She provided the right amount of information on her daily updates and was very vigilant about my flat as well as the cats. I would not hesitate to recommend her or use her again. The cats liked her too and were much calmer than usual on my return!
