Animals have always been the easiest part of my day to understand, whether it’s a dog who wants to sniff every lamppost or a cat who needs a little quiet company. I’m based in Leeds, and over the last 10 years, I’ve been the person friends and local families call when they’re heading out of town and want their pets to stay relaxed in their own routine.

When I’m house sitting, I aim to make your home feel “normal” for your pet: same mealtimes, familiar walking routes, and the kind of calm presence that helps them settle at night. For home visits and dog walks, I pay close attention to the small things that matter, like how they take treats, what makes them wary, and what gets them excited. I also send plenty of photo updates, including the goofy, in-the-moment shots you’d take yourself, so you can see they’re doing well. If medication is part of the plan, I’m comfortable administering it and I handle it gently and matter-of-factly, without turning it into a stressful event.

Because my bookings are in your home, your pet gets to keep their own space, smells, and favourite spots. On walks around Leeds, I’m happy to match their pace, whether that means a long explore or a shorter, sniff-heavy loop, and I’ll always come back in with muddy paws sorted and water topped up.
