I’m based in Reading, and for the past six years I’ve been the person families call when they want their pets to stay happily in their own world. I love getting to know each animal’s little habits and helping them feel calm while you’re away, from the “where’s my dinner?” stare to the post-walk nap on their favourite spot of the sofa.
Most of my work is house sitting, because it lets pets keep their routine exactly as they know it. I’ll follow your usual schedule for meals, walks, playtime, and quiet company, and I’m comfortable with the everyday details too, like wiping muddy paws, refreshing water bowls, and sticking to any house rules you’ve set. If you don’t need an overnight stay, I also offer home visits and dog walking around Reading, so your dog still gets their proper exercise and your cats and small pets get the check-ins they’re used to.
When your pet stays in their own home with me, they can expect familiar smells, familiar sounds, and a calm, steady presence. I’ll keep things tidy, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure your pet’s usual spaces stay just the way they like them.

Sherrie is lovely. She looks after my birdies really well and spent lots of time with veggie bun and pineapple bun. Would definitely recommend.

Ever grateful to Sherrie for the last minute reservation. She has been professional and friendly- keeping us updated through pictures videos and messages. It was our first experience being away from Vanilla and were apprehensive. But Sherrie made it comfortable and reassuring for us and Vanilla! I would highly recommend Sherrie to all pet owners!
Sherrie is a fantastic caring, animal-loving sitter, she looked after our cats as if they were hers and gave us regular updates on how they were getting on with photos and videos. She's extremely reliable and I'm so glad to have found her, she kept us at ease with daily updates and can say I had a better holiday because of it. I highly recommend her and will be using her pet-sitting service regularly myself!
Sherrie was excellent. She provided multiple updates, was really friendly and provided a great atmosphere for our cat.
My cat Penny was very happy when there and I recieved both pictures and videos from her stay there so I was at ease knowing she was well taken care off. :)
