My educational path and upbringing have exposed a passion for animals that I am keen to express. The subject of husbandry and animal care and management was well covered in my most recent education at Plymouth University’s Cornwall College. This was based in Newquay, where I completed my BSc in Applied Zoology last summer (July 2014) and my FdSc in Animal Behaviour & Psychology in the summer of July 2013. With accumulatively two years of volunteer experience at Newquay Zoo, Cornwall, I have a wide understanding of the role given to volunteers and also a great deal of experience in management and husbandry practices. In the future I would endeavour to keep animals involved in my career and hope to express the passion I have for them in the work I do.
