I love all animals - mammals, reptiles, fowl and aquatic. I learned many years ago that my life is empty without at least one cat or dog sharing my home. I have been an active animal rights advocate since my teens, becoming vegetarian once I realized that I could not spiritually distinguish between the animals we love to cuddle and the ones we eat.
