I’m Heather, a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for dogs. Holidog is very special to me — it’s where I met my wonderful dog, who I brought home through this platform. He was with me for 10 wonderful years and taught me so much about caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, especially the gentle patience needed for older companions. I treat every pet in my care as if they were my own.
I’m DBS checked and work part-time at a local school, where I support children in a caring, responsible role — reflecting my reliability, patience, and commitment to looking after others.
I offer walking, feeding, companionship, and full pet care in my home. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and personality so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

Heather and Connor were absolutely brilliant with Bailey and Marley! They settled in straight away and clearly had the best time with all the playtime, park walks and lovely garden. Heather kept us updated throughout with lovely photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious they were very well cared for and came home happy and tired! We wouldn’t hesitate to book them again. Thank you so much!
Heather looked after our 1 year old red Labrador for 24 hours and it was her first overnight stay away from home. We were so happy with her welcoming and reassuring manner. Heather instills great confidence and is so eager to care for your dog . We can honestly say that when we collected our dog the next day she had obviously been happy and well looked after. I would definitely recommend and use Heather again. 5 stars all the way ⭐
