I’m a 62-year-old retired cat lover with a passion for travel, sunshine and experiencing new cultures and places. Most of all though, I love meeting furry friends along the way! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, growing up with three dogs and many much-loved cats over the years. I’ve also completed multiple cat sits for both indoor and outdoor cats, so I understand that I every cat has their own personality, routine and little quirks! Whether your cat is playful and social or prefers a quieter companion, I’m always happy to adapt and make sure they feel safe, relaxed and well cared for while you’re away. Being retired means I don’t need to commute to work, so I can be very flexible and spend plenty of time at home with your pets. I’m tidy, respectful and will treat your home with genuine care. I also love gardening and am more than happy to help keep plants watered, gardens tidy, or lend a hand with other bits and pieces around the house while you’re away. I have experience caring for a wide range of cats, including both rescue cats and pedigree breeds, and understand that every cat has their own routine and specific needs. Some have been very social and affectionate, while others have needed a little more patience and gentle reassurance. My experience includes live-in pet sits, caring for indoor and outdoor cats, feeding, litter tray cleaning, playtime and plenty of companionship. I always take the time to learn each pet’s habits so they can stay comfortable. Alongside pet care, I’m very respectful of the homes I stay in and happy to help with general household tasks such as watering plants, keeping gardens tidy, bringing in post, putting bins out as required, and maintaining a clean, secure and well-looked-after home.
