I have many years experience as a pet owner over the years. I live with my partner and we have 6 Dachshunds (5 miniature & 1 standard) and 2 cats. Over the years I have also had rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, geese & ducks, goats, reptiles including chameleon, gecko, turtles and small furries.

I also love wildlife and have a part of the garden sectioned off for wildlife only. We once rescued a baby grass snake from the chickens and released it unharmed a few days later. Some years we have a moorhen that over-winters in our garden. Last year a pair of red-legged partridge used our garden as a nest site and we often have wild ducks and pheasants flying in for brief visits, which is lovely.
