Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a childhood interest in drawing animals naturally evolved into a deeper commitment through caring for my own pets, and actively supporting animal welfare.

From the age of 13 to 19, I volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I regularly walked dogs and cared for cats, offering them attention, comfort, and social interaction. During that time, I also organised and took part in animal welfare initiatives in my community, including events such as “Day Without Fur” and peaceful protests against the use of animals in circuses and for testing.

Between 2013 and 2017, while travelling in Southeast Asia, I continued this work by volunteering in animal shelters. I also rescued and successfully rehomed three cats and one dog during that time.
