My name is Katerina and I am first year Bulgarian student at Norwich University of the Arts. I am currently 19 years old. Being a pet sitter has always seemed to as a perfect but hard to find job. I don't know why I thought it was always just in the movies. But now knowing I can actually do it, I am very motivated and excited to try! I love pets as most people do! I have experience in looking after dogs mainly. We have always had a dog in our family. The one, I actually started taking care of as I wasn't a baby anymore, is a Yorkshire Terrier named Koko. He is going to turn 12 this year. I have to say this is a dog with a very strong character! We also had a German Shepherd and half a wolf dog at our villa.

We never had a cat except this one time, one family, close friends with my parents, gave their Persian Cat for a month. His name was Griffin, he was about 5 and the reason they gave it was because their son had a bad allergy. I will never forget how after hiding for whole two days, Griffin dared to come out behind the couch when I called him and showed him that everything was going to be alright. The cat stayed for about two months and was never happier before. The family's son got better so they took the cat back.

I believe that thanks to my experience I have learned to read the signs of the animals. I also think that I can get on well with every dog and cat, and take care of it as I'd do if it was mine.
