I’ve grown up on a farm all my life and been around various animals. I have a Blue Merle Border Collie called Jess who recently lost her Jack Russell mate. They’ve always come with me when house sitting and got along with all kinds of dogs. I work from home full time and often find myself with extra time either end of the day and on my lunch hour and thought what better way to fill it than by looking after other people’s dogs in my own home and treat them as my own. We’ve never left our dog with a pet sitter before. However the experience worked out beautifully. Our Labrador can be quite anxious when we leave her but Katie made us feel comfortable and confident that our dog would be happy and anxiety free.
