A university graduate in 'Wildlife Conservation' with a strong passion for animal care and welfare, I've been lucky enough to not only grow up with cats and dogs in my home, but to have worked professionally both for a wildlife conservation caring for working Anatolian Shepherd dogs and cheetahs, as well as a pet sitter for a number of years, in and around other employment.
Having worked in a number of sectors I know for certain my heart lies in the care of animals, which I mostly owe to the (~41-68kg) Anatolian Shepherds I worked and fell in love with in Namibia, whilst working for the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
Daily involved in the care of the dogs, I would clean their pens, assist with feeding, walking (and/or running!) the dogs, and grooming. That said cats still hold a special place in my heart, their distinctive individuality always charming (if occasionally painful, when they play a little too roughly!).

Kim was fantastic sent photos from the animals so my little one could see they was OK and being looked after and the house was just as we left it
Kim was amazing!! I run a dog rescue and have a mixed bag of dogs with health or behavioral issues which Kim understood and worked with, all the dogs took it him immediately and that put me at ease leaving Kim with the dogs. They all had a wonderful time, enjoying walks and play time daily along with Kim (who is a veggie) dealing with my raw meat diet for the dogs and administering my epileptic dogs daily meds. Kim updated me daily with photos and updates of what they had got up to, which made me not worry about my dogs much at all :-) I came home to a clean house and happy dogs. Overall, Kim was brilliant, great with the dogs of various sizes and temperaments, confident with all of them and adapted to their needs. Kim is 100% trustworthy and I would highly recommend Kim and will definitely be using Kim again when we book another holiday.
