When looking for a petsitter for my own two fluff balls (Pixie and Mylo, cats) I found it quite stressful that I didn't have many options open to me, I'd never been in the situation where I needed them looked after for any length of time. I needed someone I could trust, who loved animals as much as I did, friends and relatives weren't an option at the time but I'd much prefer a pet lover looked after them than even my closest friend.
