I’m Marissa! I’m a huge animal lover and have been lucky enough to have dogs in my life for as long as I can remember and I absolutely adore dogs of all breeds, shapes and personalities.
I started my dog-sitting business in 2021 and have had the pleasure of caring for lots of wonderful dogs since then. I understand how worrying it can be leaving your beloved pet with someone else, so my priority is always to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, comfortable and loved. I believe every dog is an individual and deserves care based around their own personality, routine and needs. Caring for dogs is a huge part of my life, and I love being able to give other people’s dogs the same love and attention I would want for my own. Your dog won’t just be another booking — while they’re with me, they’ll be treated like one of the family and hopefully this will become their home from home.
I have a Level 3 qualification in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking and I am DBS checked. I also volunteer with local dog rescues, which has helped me develop a good understanding of different behaviours, personalities and canine body language.

Marissa was absolutely amazing with Flora! She was so kind, caring and flexible, especially with pick-up and drop-off — she even came to me, which was such a huge help. Communication was fantastic, with lots of lovely updates and photos. I trusted her completely and Flora was so happy and clearly had the best time. I honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough and will 100% use her again!
Marissa was absolutely amazing with Bruno. He was well looked after. Had plenty outdoor time and interaction with other dogs . I received daily updates on his progress with photos. Marissa is a gem. Friendly and professional. Thank you!!
Marissa has been looking after our dog Storm for about a year now and we are beyond happy with the care that storm receives when she stays with Marissa. Storm took a while to settle in and Marissa was so understanding and caring towards storm and made us feel so at ease with leaving her, storm now gets so excited when we drop her off to Marissa’s and we receive so many lovely updates and pictures through her time with Marissa, she looks so happy and content in all of them. I wouldn’t go to anyone else to look after storm. Highly recommend.
Marissa has looked after my 4 year old cockapoo Woody 1-2 times per week for the last year. Woody absolutely loves Marissa and her lovely boys and he gets so excited as soon as we arrive at her house. Marissa is so kind and loving with Woody and I feel completely comfortable leaving him with her. Marissa is very flexible and is always willing to help if she can even if it's last minute. I am very happy to recommend Marissa.

Marissa is a gem! She went above and beyond each day to make sure our dogs were well looked after and loved while we were away; she really did treat them like her own. She was amazing with sending daily updates of photos and videos along with what they've been up to together. We had two very happy dogs which means the world to us. I can't recommend her highly enough and will certainly be using her services again in the future.
