I set up my dog sitting business in Windermere after contacting at least 15 dog sitters in the area and discovering that no one had availability, even with a few days notice! I’d never left my little cockapoo alone before so I was feeling quite anxious.

That got me thinking about the mindset of someone who really does need a dog sitter or walker. Thoughts like - what would give me reassurance about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know?

So I built a website to detail essential stuff - home boarding licence, DBS check, professional insurance, qualifications and ongoing study. I felt it was important to list my home address too, take lots of photos of the pups I meet and plenty of Amber, my cockapoo too.
