I have always had an affinity for animals and their care throughout my life since I was a child. During my professional development, I have endeavoured to acquire skills that allow me to continue towards an animal-based career path and learn more in-depth about their biology, nutrition and husbandry needs and take these skills and work alongside animals. I have given my time by working in various volunteer jobs and completed many hours of work experience throughout my life with a wide range of animals, developing more knowledge of how animal care businesses run. These include cattery, kennels, sanctuaries, farms and stables. During these visits, I have dedicated my time to keep areas clean and presentable alongside making sure animals have everything they need and communicating with them to build their trust with me. I enjoy doing these things as hard work is not hard when you enjoy it, and I have a passion for supporting the animals with their needs and behaviours which can be misunderstood.
