I am Rosie, a 19 year old student at Durham University, but live in a village just outside Exeter during the holidays (which is about 6 months a year). I am a massive pet lover, with a dog, four cats, fish, a turtle and a gecko at home. Over the many years of pet owning I've also had rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and budgies with cockatoos in an aviary - so have definitely got a wide range of animal experience! My mum, as a zoologist and animal lover, has always encouraged us to learn about looking after animals, and she is always on hand to help me out if I have any problems with our pets, or any I'm looking after. Currently we have a Goldendoodle, but I've had experience looking after dogs ranging from the size of a cocker spaniel to a golden retriever. I'm a responsible, gentle and hands-on person, with a lot of experience looking after a range of animals. I love all animals and I can't think of a better pastime than meeting many more!
