I currently house/dog/cat sit for 4 different owners throughout the year when they go on holiday, although this seemed to just evolve from cat sitting for a friend, I actually enjoy the variety of cats & dogs and have formed a great relationship with them. Being an animal lover in general I feel it is so much better for cats/dogs to be cared for by someone at their home rather than them going into kennels. It's great for them to be able to form a secure bond with their cat/dog sitter so that they can enjoy their time too whilst their owners are away. It gives great peace of mind to the owners when they go away, so they can just relax knowing their pets are being loved and looked after.
