I live in a 4 bed detached stone built property up the end of a small lane tucked away. People in the area don't even know the lane exists. Its very secluded and quiet with no passing traffic although we do have the garden fenced in for our dog. We have patio doors in the living room and a back door off the kitchen which are often left open in the warmer months for our dog to wander in and out to the garden. We are in the middle of putting in a wood burner so it will be nice and cosy in the winter months. It is a large house so our dog gets lots of exercise wandering up and down stairs as well as the many walks we take him on! We are lucky to live in a really nice area with lots of woodland walks practically on our doorstep. We can also walk to the local riverside walk and the 2 big parks
