As cliched as it might be it's very true - I love animals and have an inherent care for them. I have lived with dogs for most of my life, mainly pure & cross greyhounds. I took great pride in contributing towards their care and happiness and knowing they lived a loved life brought a comfort when they weren't around anymore.

I have volunteered at Bryson's cat & dog shelter over the years, taking out all kinds of breeds. This brought its own challenges around risk assessment and endurance while dog walking in varying weather conditions; I very much have a safety-first mindset.
