Animals have been part of my everyday life for years, especially the ones who needed a fresh start. Here in Chesterfield, I’ve spent the last 6 years caring for pets professionally, and much of that time has been hands-on with rescue dogs—helping them settle, learn new routines, and find their feet again.

What makes my care different is that I’m used to meeting pets exactly where they are. I’ve rescued, retrained, and rehomed dogs, and I’ve also kept some of the rescue dogs I welcomed in. I’m comfortable supporting nervous newcomers, keeping structure for energetic dogs, and sticking closely to whatever routine your pet already knows. If your pet needs medication, I can administer it, and I’ll keep you in the loop with regular photo updates so you can actually see how they’re getting on.

My home is a 3-bedroom house with a very large back garden, so dogs have plenty of space for sniffing, stretching their legs, and relaxing outside. I also have a vehicle, which helps for practical things like getting to house sits and home visits, or handling the unexpected calmly. In our household, we currently have one retired assistance dog and one assistance dog in training (both my teenage daughter’s), so quiet manners, clear boundaries, and respectful handling are part of daily life here.
