If we’re out for a dog walk, I keep the pace comfortable and let them have the sniff breaks that make a walk feel like their walk. If it’s a home visit, I’m focused on food, fresh water, a quick tidy-up around bowls, and some proper attention so they don’t feel like they’re just being “checked on.” And yes, I send photo updates with what I jokingly call paparazzi-level dedication, so you can see exactly how they’re doing.

When I stop by, I follow your routine as closely as possible, because pets notice when things change. Your dog or cat can expect a friendly face, a bit of structure, and a lot of gentle encouragement—whether that means getting moving for a walk or settling back down after a visit.
