The reason i joined this site is - i love dogs and am passionate about almost all other animals too (i am afraid of snakes). I studied biology in university and have owned several pets myself in the past. My first pet was cute pink-ish golden hamster called Ratty (difficult to translate it into English). Then a few years later (after long time begging our mother) we got two budgies - Toto (green) and Fifi (yellow) - they were very noisy, but such characters! My personal favorite arrived into my family about 18 years ago - he literally ran into our arms. A little black abandoned puppy Sniff, who had been taken in by an elderly neighbor, but who could not take proper care of him. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to him in august 2014 - devastating. Here in Aberdeen we've owned a Syrian hamster -Cow- and now we're proud owners of a cheeky male ferret called Titan! I also studied animal care in college - so i am serious about finding a job that allows me to work with animals full time.
